White Card Legislation Information
Who should enrol in this course?
- Anyone who wishes to work or is working in the construction industry (including work experience) within Western Australia
- High school students enrolled in Cert I in Construction CPC10108 or higher
- High school students undertaking work experience or workplace learning course provides an appropriate safety industry for any industry.

Location
Delivery of the White Card can be conducted at either National Corporate Training’s premises in Malaga or your own if suitable.
Duration
The White Card is conducted as a four hour face to face course.
Assessment
Teachers
Alternatively the White Card can be delivered by one of your own teachers if they can demonstrate the following:
Statement of Attainment for the unit: CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in the construction industry
If your a teacher and can demonstrate the above then contact us to get approval to deliver the White Card. The cost per student for this is only $39.
Class Numbers
If you would like a NCT lecturer to deliver the White Card either at our premises or your own we require class numbers of between 20 and 30 students for each session. If you are able to deliver the White Card yourself there is no minimum or maximum of student numbers.
Cost
NCT Trainer:
Group of 12 - 20 Students: $59 per student
Your Approved Teacher:
$39 per student
Payment is invoiced after completion of training.
White Card Validity
On 31st July 2009, WorkSafe issued a formal notice that White Cards will no longer expire.
Under the National Code of Practice, employers may still require staff to re-take the course if they have not worked in the industry for more than two years or if the employer considers repeat training is necessary.

Cancellation Policy
Non-attendance or cancellation within 2 working days, will incur full cost.

Note: Construction Training Fund (formerly BCITF) $50 rebate available to eligible persons.
